Shut it down and leave it down. This worked well a couple of months ago and gave Mexico a taste of what it would be like w/o America to suck off of. They did nothing about THEIR problem and so the solution may come up again. Those that live here that feel they have to go to Mexico can still fly I suppose.

As far as jobs that they work here go Trump has just made it a requirement that able bodied people work in order to receive food stamps so many of these crapola jobs that Americans were paid not to do will be worked by our own people now.

I just hope Trump holds out as this shutdown may take 2 years till the Republicans regain control again. While the negotiating is going on Trump has added that our immigration laws be revised. Trumps own words were "I can't believe any president or congress passed such laws in the first place".

Not so. What they are doing to Trump, the Dems succeeded in Illinois. Gov. Rauner refused to sign a budget laden with pork spending. During the last election the Dems reminded the masses and flooded the airwaves with "working people" who suffered from it. Now we have a Chicago millionaire crook in the Governors mansion.

I don't know how it will play out, but it will be interesting to watch the political chess match. Trump may be tempted to reach for more leverage, say close the border. But in terms of broader public opinion that might just look like more hostage-taking. Were I playing opposite Trump I think I would try to wait him out. He is a restless type who doesn't sit in cover easily.

But isn’t that the norm in Illinois?

Trump beats around the bush on the Dems" refusal to enact border control, saying merely that they want an "open border." He never explains WHY in terms clear enough for the average idiot American to understand that the Dems regard every "refugee" as a potential Democratic voter--he & everyone in his adm. needs to say this explicitly & continually to make any headway against the traitors whose mission in life is to make border control impossible.

Yes he does even though everyone knows it. He also needs to add that the democrats think nothing of sabotaging America for their own gain.

Yeah....you appear to be correct. Voting for the most evil of the two evils seems to be the way they go now. People demand change no matter how bad the change will be.
