    In the first season of "Mad Men", set in a NYC Advertising Agency in 1960, one of the principals in the agency recommends that Don Draper get a copy of "The Fountainhead". It would a fitting title for the time on the shelf of someone who considered themself to be a member of the elite, but yes the connection to the business of commercial messaging is an ironic one. And yet today, a half century later, capitalism has embraced personal consumerism as a primary strategy. The Big 5 in data certainly try to monetize individual consumer behavior as much as possible. Anyways I'll have to pass on the offer to watch only commercials for a day.
