    Tiger, Tiger, burning bright ...

Is that what she is, Ocasio Cortez ? Full of p!ss and vinegar but
destined to have her fire extinguished by the older elements of
the party before she does further damage ? She'll have her day,
that's for sure, but I'd guess it will be relatively short lived
before she finds the well established pecking order allows no
short cuts. You take your turn and that starts at the bottom of
    the ladder.

Tell me, how does a Mexican lady carry the name of the man who killed over a million Mexicans -- and get away with it?

I'm sure there are Italians with the name Casius or Casca, maybe even Brutus who don't feel guilty either.
      After all, "What's in a name ?"

Ah, but if she were a REPUBLICAN, she'd be under fire from all directions for her "racist" name,

          That goes without saying.

You can have a racist name?

I thought I might get some more pertinent comments other than she has a racist name.
              Hope springs eternal.

The only thing about her name, that's unfortunate for her is that it morphs so easily into- Occasionally Coherent or Occasionally Crazi

                  it was not Mexico then,

Mexico did not come to being until after 1800 or so, (found 2 different dates on the net)

Nope. Mexico began around 1200 AD, when the Mexica entered Anahuac ("By the Water") and built their city on islands in the lake.

                            did not find that one,

one site listed it as nuevo espana, another said mexico, as in the country , was 1810, (another 1820ish)

called a lot of other stuff in the native languages in the quick search I did,

You are taking a Eurocentric view. The Mexica were a nation and an empire long before the first Europeans set foot in America.
