May as well let the Judges run the Country ...

Why waste all that money on salaries for the President
and Congress when Judges have proved they know more
about running the country than they do. Everything the
President suggests doing is pointed out by a Judge to be
shortsighted, stupid and offends some group or another.
This particular Judge has decided that the President was
wrong in wanting to know who is in the country legally,
and another Judge will show how inconsiderate Trump was
by shutting down the government and denying workers
their wages. Who can argue against such wisdom ?
So, let those wise old Owl in black robes show how it's done
so that absolutely no one is denied the good life, everybody
is happy and no one ever gets offended.

togor often amazes me with his non sequitur replies.
Why he bothers wearing out his finger tips for such blah replies is a wonder.
Although he is occasionally coherent, unlike his buddies.

        Tell it to the judge.

Come on togor with your propaganda and lies and tell us how the votes today were cast because Trump called Putin and asked him to collude with the Brexit crowd to discredit May. Tell us how the Scottish border is the problem and how the British parliament is stupid... Put up or shut up!

At the time of the Bork confirmation battle in 1987 Hodding Carter III said:
"For thirty years, liberals have been relying on the least democratic branch of government to get their agenda through."
The Wall Street Journal noted in its coverage of the Kavanagh nomination:
"The courts are the left's preferred legislature.
The goal of contemporary liberalism/leftism is authoritarian government.

This what I've always said: "when a single federal judge (usually obama appointed) can stop or block the president of the United States we don't need a president".

I can understand a majority blocking a president but a single judge??? There are thousands of them too.

Things REALLY need to change in this respect.

My reply was elliptical DT, but not entirely off the point. Sometimes the Daily Mail juices things up a bit, pushing buttons as it were, with the King headline as an example. To your rhetorical question about the judge, he's doing what judges do, which is make calls that leave half of the courtroom unhappy. Trump wins plenty in court, but no doubt not as often as his supporters would like. My understanding of his style of operating as a businessman was to ask the courts for a lot and complain loudly about what he didn't get. A different sort of fellow might go to court less often but with better odds on each visist. So long story short I don't regard the administration's W-L record in court as indicative as of anything except that they (to use a baseball metaphor) swing for the fences a lot and consequently strike out a lot. If you know a little baseball then you know that lots of guys make a living that way.

No it isn't, but that's okay. Just keep doing what you do and I'll do the same.
