    If Hollywood/Spielberg wants to make . . . .

    . . . . a movie, I suggest they look into the story of the USS Canopis (AS-9) submarine tender, and it’s crew.
    I had a cousin, part of this crew, that died in a Japanese POW camp in Japan.
    The story of this ship would make a great movie! —Jim

    There isn't a trailer yet, but last year Tom Hanks finished production on the movie "Greyhound". The movie is based on the The Good Shepherd, by C. S. Forester.



    Supposed to be out in March, 2019.

      that would make a great movie. some of those guys were in the Palawan massacre.
