    The Democratic field

Might as well start the predictions now. So here is mine: Kamala Harris vs. Trump.

Risky and perhaps unheard of but I wonder if the Republican party should throw a candidate in there. Besides Trump.

The decision is not made by the party, but by the candidates themselves. No one told me to run for Congress in '04, that was my decision.

I always thought it was very unusual for someone in the same party to run against the incumbent.

That's because few people make that decision -- if the incumbent is more in line with my thinking than his opponent, why should I try to derail him?

I think it’s way to early and the field is going to get very crowded.

The party name is not Democratic. It's Democrat. Big difference.

Saw on TV news cast that Hillary "hinted" she may run for POTUS again. I would think that's like making a brick float on water. Also, she said she would decide "later".

                    as presidential candidate, I agree

                    as a VP, distant maybe,

posturing for other positions or future runs, definately, depending of course on what skeletons are found, and reported , in her closet,
read an article yesterday about how she was the mistress to the Mayor (IIRC) for a number of years

I think a lot of people throw their hat in just to say they did it. I ran for president.
