CBS and CNN both say that only 76% of Americans approved what our moron President said in the SOTN speech last night. I'd bet that every one of Obama's SOTU speeches were approved by at least 5 times that many and that Obama's overall approval rate was ten times more than Trump's 48%.

It isn't just CBS and CNN, all the snap polls by the MSM had the same results within two or three points.
It is important to note that the poll was of people who actually watched the speech which means mostly Republicans and some independents since I suspect a lot of Dems didn't watch so the numbers are a bit skewed I'm sure..
Still, that is an exemplary performance. I watched most of it and it was a masterpiece of political ju jitsu. Maybe the best State of the Union I've ever seen.Last edited by Art; 02-06-2019, 09:45.Comment

Indeed one of the best. The prerehearsed followup commentary was no match for what he said. It came off as though she hadn't listened.
My jaw dropped when he tweaked noses and body slammed about socialism and interference in one fell swoop and kept right on going to the next topic without a pause.

I agree. Best STOU speech I have ever heard. He touched all of the import topics and his presentation was an absolute masterpiece. It was further improved by the stunned expressions on the faces of the Democrats. Nancy Pelosi looked she was totally out of it, shuffling papers and smiling while Trump was talking to the little girl with brain cancer. As for Schumer, I can't even look at this smug POS.Comment
