Seems like a lot of money. Food and rent must really be high in that area. Wouldn't have thought hot dogs over a camp fire and a double-wide refrigerator box under a bridge overpass would cost that much money. Oh well! Guess it just takes more money to live fine in those high dollar cities.
Sincerely. bruce.

This sounds like the brilliance of Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez. I wonder if any of this is federal money that could and should be cut off. If the state has this kind of money it seems to me they could put it to better use dozing the vacant dilapidated buildings.Last edited by Allen; 02-10-2019, 06:42.Comment

They'll raise taxes thus driving more people out of Illinois or out of their homes and into boxes under a bridge. Typical machine politics. Rahms way of establishing his own personal legacy before vacating office.2016 Chicago Cubs. MLB Champions!

Once again, how is it that we have to give money to people who won't work? What happens if we won't pay?Comment

Nothing wrong with a living wage so long as it's earned and the local economy can handle it.
The problem comes when it's dictated by blanket law and paid to people who didn't bother to learn some skills along the way.2016 Chicago Cubs. MLB Champions!
