The news just loves and plays up any thing negative about people wearing wearing those red hats. The Jussie Smollett story and Covington Catholic High School kids in MAGA hats. They jumped on both of these incidents as great news for them to show what bad people the Trump supporters are. The entertainment folks had their say also big time. Once the actual facts of these cases surface they become the classic example of the cart before the horse, LOL, Ray

It may be unfair, but when the head of the MAGA movement tweets out a lament over a lack of retribution for his portrayal in a TV show, it creates a cloud over all who would don the MAGA livery, that one of the many might heed the call. Retribution is a potent word.
