More bizarre than his "I didn't have to do it," remark, that is already being quoted in the fed suits filed by Dems against it as proof straight out of the horse's mouth that it isn't a national emergency?

But I'm surprised & very disappointed that Ann doesn't think it's an emergency. Or if she doesn't, that she has to say so publically. Still, her disapproval is no where near as harmful as Trump's own words, soon to be quoted in federal court.

I have trouble seeing the wall as a remedy because it doesn't touch the vast majority of border-related problems. Refugee claims, drugs, etc., demonstrate that the action even in our non-wall state is at the Ports of Entry. Why do the pro-wall people resist recognition of this basic fact? Because it's a damnable LIE, spread by the media in support of the Dems. Hundreds of landowners all along the border are forced to live in a constant state of siege due to the dope & human traffic across their property, but the media rarely report their dilemma, preferring to keep their cameras on women with their squalling brats lined up at the Ports of Entry .

Regarding the state of siege, some locals say it's the BCP laying siege with their 100 mile rule interpretation. I'd take the wall case more seriously if its fiercest advocates weren't so reactionary about it.

Let me ask you a question--has the Federal Government ever f'd up a major undertaking in a big way? Let's say for sake of argument that we'll both say "yes" to that question. What I'm hearing is that while choosing to ignore what objective stats the it has that say that the chosen strategy (make wall) won't be effective, the government is nonetheless determined to go ahead and do it anyways, overriding the will of Congress, for reasons of....politics. Cripes, that makes the war on the southern border look a lot like the Vietnam war, the war on drugs, the war on poverty, etc. See my point? This one just has "clusterf*ck" written all over it.
