And This Is Why Some Of Us Push Back

Lt. Christopher Paul Hasson of the Coast Guard.

His rhetoric quoted in the article sounds a lot like some of the people here. The only difference appears to be that he felt young enough to still "get in the game". One of the reasons I have zero respect for the people who throw the term Nazi around loosely is that there are real Nazis out there, and people of similar view, who mean to kill and may not be that particular about who dies. Those of us who don't think that way have, in my opinion, an obligation to remain clear-eyed and clear-headed about these things, and not let our political passions get the best of us, and certainly not become muddle-headed about what a Nazi is, or isn't. Most at this forum manage that without difficulty, but sadly there are a few who do not.

There was a West Pointer who just got the boot for being a Marxist, it would seem they are enforcing the law equally. And if he was using dope, he was unfit to be an officer. The Coast Guard recently got its fingers slapped by badly by the US Court of Military Appeals, which dismissed rape charges against a Coast Guardsman, citing command influence and weak evidence, so they probably feel they have to make up for it.

After one peels back the thin veneer of pseudo journalism (or whatever the hell it is), who knows what this really is. That stack of weapons, ammunition and etc. shown in the photo probably wouldn’t even come close to to what most of us keeps around the house. Maybe someone just has a hard on for the old boy.

Hope those folks never break into the old ICBM silo I have filled with my toys; I'm starting to fill the one next door too.
