Go in laughing, come out scratching.
Been there, done that in a seedy looking cinema in
London - in my youth. Had a movie friend and I wanted
to see back then "Fall of the House of Usher".
However, this collection of movie theaters doesn't even
come close to the ones featured in a book I have -
"The Bast remaining seats" - pics of the magnificent theaters
in America built for the silent and the golden oldies.
Last page shows Gloria Swanson among the wreckage of
the New York Roxy after it was torn down.
