lovely war to start. There probably aren't too many of them
left who were involved in WW2, but I'm sure they've seen the
movies. I'm sure too they realize the next one would be far worse.

Rattle the Sabers. The Russia today is not the Soviet Union. Hordes of Red Army tanks are not poised to roll through the Fuda Gap. Because of this is doubtful NATO will ask for the deployment of Cruise Missiles into their countries again. The Soviets had developed long range cruise missiles in the mid 80's. Russia got caught breaking the treaty and the US called them out on it. The real threat is the CHICOMs, I don't believe we have every signed any type of anti missile treaty with them. Who knows what they are developing.
