Trump Inc. made millions on the inauguration from foreign benefactors, in part by jacking up the rates charged for ballrooms, etc., at Trump-owned facilities. And conservatives are woofing about $6,191.32, which is actually reported in FEC filings? BTW, that $6192 is would get you about 50 minutes in a Trump-owned ballroom during the inauguration. Barely time to set up and tear down the decorations. Give me a break!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Trump supporters have to overlook a lot. That may also be true of Billary supporters, but it is definitely true of Trump supporters. One is certainly free to dislike Obama for his policies, but as far as just running the government without a lot of scandal or drama, he is leaps ahead of Trump.

There were scandals in the Obama administration in some of the departments, and there are in the Trump administration as well. The White House itself, far less. Mainly I think because of a temperamental difference between the two men. Trump as a businessman is a maximalist when it comes to pushing the rules. He says so in his books, which you know if you read them. Obama has a very different take that way. His personal nature towards risk is, to use a word, much more conservative (small c). So to me, if someone says "I'm a big fan of limited government and separation of powers like the Constitution says, but I love Trump because..." then all I see is someone who hasn't begun to understand that Trump and the Constitution are fundamentally incompatible. It's true. Trump and the Constitution are antithetical.

Had Obama Trump's mentality towards power he would have put Merrick Garland on the Supreme Court with a recess appointment and dared the Senate and SCOTUS to do anything about it. And you guys would howl about dictatorial overreach. Obviously none of that happened.

Uranium 1 is a good example of people trying to talk a scandal into existence, because they want it to be so. Ironically it is a scandal associated with the evil Russians who it turns out are not so evil after all when they are hacking the DNC and helping Trump with the 2016 election.
