Has Chief Justice Roberts been seduced ...

by the evening soirees hosted by democrat donors ?
It's probably a temptation hard to resist. Who could not
say yes when invited to an evening of wine women and
song where all the Washington elites are gathered ?
It must give one a nice warm fuzzy feeling to be considered
    one of the in crowd.

Let's remember Roberts is the one who upheld the proposition that Americans can be fined -- without a trial -- if they don't buy insurance under Obamacare. His excuse was, "You could call it a tax."

    WAIT A MINUTE.

US Constitution, Article I, Section 2:
"Clause 3: Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers,"

This would be a direct tax, but NOT apportioned among the states. Now that is amended by the 16th Amendment:
    "Amendment XVI
The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several states, and without regard to any census of enumeration. "

But the Obamacare fine or tax is NOT an income tax.

The whole thing is blatantly unconstitutional.

Roberts has always been a RINO and was appointed by a RINO.

Yep. A shame, when there were good men in plenty who could have been appointed.

Forget Omamacare. Wasn't his the vote that resulted in Sodomites smooching on the courthouse steps while waving their new (so-called) marriage licenses?

No question about it -- he needs to go. Now how do we get him out?

He'll go like Vince Foster went.

Look on the bright side, a strong possibility of another conservative replacing a Nazi on the bench.

There is no bright side while Ginsberg refuses to die or quit.

I bet if you went up to her and bumped her she would fall right out of her chair having rigor mortis set in from her death years ago.

In joining the majority for the Obamacare, Roberts got to write the opinion which the others had to go along with, he said Obamacare is a tax, and Congress has the authority to levy them-and repeal them.

His decisions seem to be inconsistent as if he is being paid off at times.

                              No, they don't!

The Constitution requires all direct taxes be apportioned among the states. The Obamacare fine is a direct tax (each individual pays his own) and is NOT apportioned among the states. The 16th Amendment authorizes an INCOME tax which is not apportioned, but the Obamacare fine is not an income tax.
