AOC steals almost $1 million in campaign money...

    Just a small bookkeeping error...

Trump donates $35K of his own money to his own campaign and that is a impeachable crime?

But I guess Robert Mueller has got his hands full on more important things.

The fascination with AOC is in itself fascinating.

If one types "AOC FEC" into a search engine, say Google, one sees a who's-who of right wing internet sites all more or less repeating the same thing, that a Republican group has made a complaint to the FEC. From there speculation ensues that itself seems to source more stories and even Red's eye-catching title for this thread. Which gets me wondering...what burden of proof does someone need to meet to file a FEC complaint? I'm guessing none at all, that there is no penalty for frivolous accusations.

What scares the right about AOC I think is the possibility that she's not in it for the money, that she's a true believer in the cause.

            Why doesn't it scare you?

If you think about it at all (too easy, guys, ...), it should scare the hell out of you too, ...

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”
            ~ C. S. Lewis

What is the 'cause'? The cause du jour? The latest flavor of the day? Whatever the media pees their pants over next? Saccarine? Ozone layer? Zebra muscles or asian carp? Felling the rain forest? Asbestos or lead? Acid rain? Red dye #2? The next Ice Age is coming which has now become the melting ice cap? Or whatever 'cause' she may dream up in her tiny little mind tomorrow so she can impose her will at the drop of a hat, whatever that might turn out to be?

The problem isn't that YOU specifically are not in her cross-hairs today, it is that you appear to support her having and using the power of the state and pointing those cross-hairs in any direction she desires because, to use your words, "she's a true believer in the cause".

So again, I must ask; what cause?

The fact that there is no answer to that - or that it is an answer that would not be said out loud here - and that a supposedly intelligent person could advocate for such a thing, should scare the he!! out of every Liberty loving person reading this. Indeed, every single person alive should be terrified because that is exactly what caused things like the Khmer Rouge and Oncga. The slope is called slippery because once you realize you are on it, you cannot stop it.

AOC is a daft, vapid bimbo with a nice profile and a pretty smile so she gets lots of air time. She is being used by the media, the powers that be, and even folks like you to advance their own agendas because she certainly doesn't possess the capacity nor the experience to create one of her own, let alone policy for the world, ...

            And yet here she is.

            Why doesn't that scare you?

Absolutely none; that's why race-baiters, feminazis, & other Dems, churn them out so prolifically.

Why doesn't it scare me? More or less for the reasons you gave about AOC. Also because I try to keep fear out of my politics, because if they can make you feel fear they can move you any way they want. What people might want to think about rationally is that AOC is tapping into a sentiment that is out there that the economic system has swung too far to the right, that what works great for Trump and Hannity doesn't give them a chance. You can say they're wrong all you want, but indications are that people are coming to this conclusion just the same. If nobody besides AOC and Bernie talk to these people, it's a fair guess how they'll vote.

The only folks 'fascinated' by AOC are the liberal media, proving they are as stupid as she is.

This is what happens when there is no accountability. Happens every day not only with individuals but entire cities and states.

Emergency fund? These are funds where "X" amount of taxpayers money goes to fund future emergency's. The problem is no one knows how much goes into it or how much comes out of it and the purpose usally.

General fund? Just like above but not for emergency's. Where does this money go and who to ??????

Infrastructure money shortages. No matter how much we pay in highway taxes, licesnse, tags, gasoline taxes and excise taxes whenever a road needs to be resurfaced, a bridge built or repaired, etc, etc. there is NEVER money enough to do it. The discussions always come up about raising taxes, charging a toll and so forth. The discussions should be about where has the money gone that has been paid in and why isn't it available.

School board taxes. Schools always complain about not having enough money and underpaid teachers though they know exactly what the job pays long before going to college to become such. Nearly every election the school board tries to pass "temporary taxes" that are permanent and appear on the next election ballots with additional "temporary taxes". If these don't pass then the county merely raises property taxes. The school system where I live is drowning in money. Several new schools have been built recently with more on the way. The diesel buses are retired after reaching about 100K miles and so forth.

All money counters, tax collectors, taxpayer funded accounts and politicians receiving funds should be placed under a microscope and account for every penny received and spent.

                    If nothing changes--nothing changes.

One out of two - not bad.

I should know better - one question at a time, ...

I fear hatred in politics because it is uncontrollable and only the most desperate, detestable and stupidly irresponsible will resort to it. The dems today toy with it as a tool in their arsenal to regain power and use it motivate their rabid and radical base - 'hate has no home here' is a hate sign, and they know it and they choose to use it to fan flames with it. That is completely unacceptable.

You answered one question - she doesn't scare you because she seems to agree with and you agree with her (I am paraphrasing, ...), and the fact still remains that 'AOC is a daft, vapid bimbo with a nice profile and a pretty smile so she gets lots of air time.' and '[s]he is being used by the media, the powers that be, and even folks like you to advance their own agendas because she certainly doesn't possess the capacity nor the experience to create one of her own, let alone policy for the world, ...

                      And yet here she is.'

And that doesn't bother you a bit because you appear to perceive it as for you so you don't mind how it comes about. That is not our system - individual Liberty for all - and it is in fact, contrary to and undermines that system - but that is ok because it for you, regardless of some twit using her tits to get it in front of the cameras, which would presumably insult you in the utmost were it apparently not for you, ... (and how is it that we here are supposed to continue to show respect and regard for someone with such hypocrisies within their own statements and fundamental positions?).

But what happens when the cause du jour of the vapid turns its cross-hairs at you? And you have given them broad powers to do as they wish, ...

So again, can you tell us please, in what 'cause' is she the true believer?

(You have to be cautious because within your answer is implicit that those reading here are not, and therefore not worthy of the same regard that you demand and bitterly complain that is denied from those here, ...)
Far enough right to just be, ... right.

Bodyman it's my turn to ask you a question.

And the question before all other questions would be...is it possible for you to give an answer that is short and to the point?

Exactly right -- and our resident National Socialists are good examples of this.

Sure I can. Can you answer at all?

It is usually a give and take in a conversation; answer then ask - but you almost never answer the questions and instead just evade, like now.

Supposedly, you want people to engage in cogent, lucid discourse on these difficult topics. So here is an opportunity to demonstrate the depth and breadth of the liberal mind - to defend that viewpoint and see if it stands up under a microscope - so engage.

Or are you here for some other reason?

Sorry about the length - your lips must be really tired after all that reading. Difficult topics, however, often take a good bit more parsing.
