    It's Barbie's birthday - she's sixty ...

and she doesn't look a day older. I wonder how she does it.
But whatever her secret, she sells 58 million copies of herself a year.
    She's a doll.

My wife had a friend who worked in the Barbie Doll factory back in it's beginning. She was always giving my wife Barbie Dolls, the very early ones. Wish she had kept them. Her Aunt also has some too which her Aunt still has.

I have to agree with what others have said: "if there was a real life Barbie and one who didn't age it would be Christy Brinkley".

My wife has an aunt (doesn't have kids) who allegedly has most all the Barbie variations ever made including those from 1959. She has a room full of them.

What would really bring this thread to life is a long Bodyman post about Barbies and how they relate to liberals.

          Barbie doll vs real women.

Real women who look like Barbie as much as possible

As the father of two girls, with two grand daughters, I say may the man who invented Barbie dolls rot in hell!

I think that is how my wife feels about the men who invented S&W, the M1 Carbine, 1911's and Blue Bell ice cream.
