Trump Seeks Work Requirements For Welfare Recipients

Can you imagine how popular this will be with certain groups in our country? We are now going into the fourth generation of "families" where no one has ever been married or held a job. This is an outrageous demand!

Big cuts to Medicare (and probably Medicaid) too.

Sorry I can't work because there isn't transportation for me to get to where a job is because there aren't any where I live and there isn't anyone to care for my children.

That is NOT in anything I've read about this. You are making up lies again, or, maybe you got that out of your British Encyclopedia. Anything to hurt America and DJT is fair game to Nazi/Zocialists like you. Pure lies and propaganda that you run away from when challenged, just like every other bully I've known... all braggadocio from a yellow--bellied sapsucker coward.

For the umpteenth time... I hate some of the things that DJT does. I do not like him as a person but I respect him as a doer. a mover, and a shaker. Somebody that can get things done and as President has kept more promises than any of his predecessor despite being attacked from all sides by the liars and the Democrat Yes Men in the media.

        To be absolutely clear:

        1. Hillary Clinton would have been an absolute disaster as President. Russia, would have absorb all of the Ukraine, No. Korea would have taken So. Korea in a NY minute and continued on to take over Japan.

        2. Huge tax increases would have forced the rest of the manufacturing industry to flee.

        3. The military would have been totally destroyed leaving the U.S. open for attack from pimple heads in No. Korea and Iran.

        4. Unemployment on Jan. 1, 2019 would have been 20%+.

This is what the idiots on the left including our devil in disguise would rejoice. They are a part of a treasonous coup dé etat and the worst attack on the USA in history.

Back in the gas shortage of 1979-80. Jimmy Carter and the Democrats came up with a program where unemployed teen agers would have a summer job, in U.S. forests cutting firewood for low income families. At the time cut and split firewood was selling for $60 - $70 a cord. The firewood produced by the young workers cost over $300/cord... That is socialism in a nutshell.

Gosh Red, Fox isn't covering the Medicare part? Shocking! Anyhow, no worries, since the plan is to save $845B over 10 years by cutting payouts to providers, eliminating wasteful procedures, and squeezing pharma. Actually, it sounds like a good idea to me, if you believe pharma, doctors and hospitals will actually settle for less (no lobbying clout there!) The Democrats clearly don't, as they are waving the bloody shirt of Medicare cuts. They may be right, but I don't think it is helpful. One area where I am a pretty hard-assed Conservative is on entitlements. Too many people collect entitlements who don't actually need them. Like Vernon said, we need a responsible citizenry again, and who better to set an example than the old and wise.

In the mental health field a small portion were truly in need, the rest were there for the forum and faked it. Some of my cohorts went along simply just to get paid.

I've never understood that -- the guy that EARNED the money that pays their benefits probably was randomly tested, but the people who live off of his labor don't have to be tested.

It is inhumane to test the needy.

And besides, if they had to get clean for the test, they wouldn't be needy any more.

You know what the needy do with their time with everything being provided? They wonder about getting into mischief and causing grief for others.

First Timothy, 5, 13 "And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not."

                            But most importantly"

2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 English Standard Version (ESV)

For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat. For we hear that some among you walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies. Now such persons we command and encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living.

I have come to believe that Saint Paul was a Republican.
