This is starting to remind me of Bloomberg -- as Mayor of New York, he was beating the drum for Climate Change and how it put New York City in peril of flooding.

Now you'd think he'd be doing something positive about it -- like putting watertight doors on the subways. But for Hurricane Sandy, he didn't even sandbag the entrances to the subways! I think we'll see a lot of posturing about this threat, but no positive action -- unless prominent Democrats can make money from the crisis.

Hope this doesn't happen before my Alaskan Cruise in May.

The waves that destroyed a lot of Japan nearly a decade ago(doesn't seem that long) were thirty to forty ft. high. Underwater and above water landslides have caused tsunamis 500 -1000 ft. high in the past. Way in the past.

Joke was that people bought land in Arizona figuring it would become
beach front property when California fell into the sea after the 'Big One'.
          They're still waiting.

Maybe it would be a good idea after all to let California become a sanctuary state for the illegals and liberals. Also, California may get it's wish to succeed from the union. Now if we can just get Starbucks, Amazon and other lib outfits to set up HQ offices there.

a better article on the same subject appeared a few years back in the New Yorker. A little more science and a lot less drama: https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2...really-big-one
