    The 25 billion $ Pine Cone ...

That's what it looks like - one that has opened and shed it's seeds.
Howard Roarke would laugh except for the pain in his legs.

When I was a youngster my Dad took me to see the
monument to The Great Fire of London.
It was 311 steps to the top. When I got to the top I waited
and waited and waited for my Dad to appear - which he did.
I didn't realize then, being a kid just what a sacrifice he made
in order to show me that important landmark.
It's one thing to climb 311 steps and then look down on buildings,
but here you climb 2,500 steps and end up looking up at buildings.
    Seems pointless.

A good post. The "building" looks a little top heavy. But, these aren't the days of the Titanic, I'd expect the building meets numerous codes. Aye, but wasn't Roarke a non conformist? That's not even hippie talk, it's beatnik talk. Remembering my dad.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.
