Why are 'rap' singers shooting each other ? ...

not that I care you understand, it's just that I find it
intriguing as to why these - for want of a better term -
singers with really stupid names are being shot stabbed,
poisoned, overdosed, strangled or run over.
My guess is, they're filling in time between gigs selling
drugs. A dangerous occupation it seems. Maybe it's simply
that someone can't stand the hideous noise they make.
Well, whatever the reason, I certainly won't miss him,
especially as I'd never heard of him in the first place.

Chicago rapper Lil Mister, the cousin of Lil Durk, was shot and killed in his hometown on Friday night (March 15).

Could it because they are stupid whackedout druggies themselves?

If you are making zillions of dollars selling noise that can't be called "music," why would you need to sell drugs?

      it is complicated,

promote and live the thug life, and die by the thug life,

sounds simple, but these folks want to think they live it,,, and often don't, but get caught up and find themselves dead

It is all about market share and greed. There is sharply defined market and demand for rap. The more rap artists(?) in the field, the smaller each piece of the rap money pie. Since quality of product is not a defining factor, elimination of the competition seems the most direct solution. Jungle rules apply. Regards, Clark

          Pretty good explanation.

I think it's much more simple on the surface. Gangs. They run with different crews behind the scenes.
All the rest mentioned is just part of it.

I think it proves that even rap "artists" can't stand rap.
