Mulling this one over for a bit, CH, and a question for you popped up. Let's say we ran the country like a corporation, and each generation of future children represents future employees. Well like any large organization, the United States of America, Inc., runs on both brains and braun. So doesn't this lad from Africa, obviously bright, represent an attractive acquisition of talent for the future?

Sounds like you're talking about the H1-B system, which gets swamped by Indians headed to Sili-valley every year. Did you know that most of the worlds English-speakers live in India? Like you I would like to see the immigration system re-legislated, but right now too many people like things the way they are, including both the "build that wall" and "sanctuary city" people, if we're being honest. Why? Because it jacks up donations for both sides. We suffer from a plague of extremists. Can I get a "both sides!" to that?

I have had the chance to meet and talk to a few Nigerians, their English is better than the Mexican, Venezuelans, S.African and Brazilians. a lot of them over stay their Visa and try to become Legal citizens. i Noticed they hard working people and don't complain about pay, don't like to get involve in American voting/politics(which is is good thing IMO). when outside their Country, i notice that they do well for themselves.

What i don't understand about the country is that they are bless with lot of man power with the highest population in African, oil, bitumen, Diamonds, Uranium, good soil for agricultural use and yet, its one of the Poorest country in the world.
