    And so FDR is reincarnated

The new Socialist/Democratic/Nazi party has come up with a way to "fix," the U.S., just pack the Supreme Court!

On February 5, 1937, President Franklin Roosevelt announces a plan to expand the Supreme Court to as many as 15 judge...

Remember, many of FDR's "fixes," were overturned by SCOTUS and really didn't do much to end the depression, the passage of time and WWII did that, of course the Democrats claim credit for both.

To Error Is Human To Forgive Is Not SAC Policy

It's hardly a game to play with the nation's welfare like that.

If the supreme court can be packed do it now while we have a real president in office.

Someone would need both houses and 60+ in the Senate to pass that law, right? Plus public opinion. But after the Merrick Garland incident such a sentiment is understandable. People feel that McConnell stole a position on the bench.

As the Wall Street Journal noted during the Kavanaugh confirmation battle "The Courts are the liberals preferred legislature."
Let's say the Dems succeed in enlarging the Court-remember, it's done by statute-then the GOP wins and they decide to downsize it. ?

The power dynamics argue against downsizing as a result of vacancy, and no mechanism exists for unappointing a serving jurist except for cause.

FDR's policies, while eventually overturned by the Court, served their purpose in the short term. The NRA, WPA etc. kept our country out of the type of strife Europe was suffering from in the interwar years.
To reincarnate those policies in today's political and economic climate is little more than a power grab in a Christmas wrapper. There is no latter day justification.

                  Yeah, you gotta love FDR!

The principal (Russian) agent in the 1930's was Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) and his Communist Administration. Pearl Harbor was FDR's transformative moment to crystallize the direction of his endeavor The left, and supporters like Doris Kearns Goodwin have protected FDR's name, agenda and legacy; but communism was his plan.
Had FDR lived, a New World Order would have gone forth under cover of the United Nations, with a Charter largely written by communist Alger Hiss, then Acting Secretary- General of the San Francisco Charter Conference. The partnership between FDR and Stalin would ultimately have emerged, and would long ago have accomplished what is still transpiring!
Just another opinion and food for thought...
