These are unpredictable times. The first link mentions the Tea Party. I'm sure Vernon, for example, feels strong solidarity with them. But let's do an experiment....

Take Vernon and AOC. One is a rural landowner, and company stockholder, and what one might call a pillar of established society. The other is an urban radical and rabble-rousing orator. But put them in the wayback machine to 1773 one time, or a hundred, and the result is the same: AOC is the one destroying private property in Boston harbor, and Vernon is the one demanding that the crown take swift action. It's a topsy-turvy world for sure.
