Bookers from NJ. He says in the article "“I am tired of going to funerals where parents are burying their children and so I am gonna bring a fight to the NRA". Now remember NJ has very strict gun laws. So I decided to search his attendance of funerals. He did attend a funeral while he was the Mayor of Newark in 2007. The suspect was supposed to have been deported and it was said he might have been a MS 13 member. The NRA had nothing to do with this murder. The suspect was a criminal which in NJ was prohibited from having a firearm by state law. The same state leadership is trying to make NJ a sanctuary state. I could find no other shooting related funerals that Mr. Booker attended. So again Mr Booker is pandering to those who will not research him.To Error Is Human To Forgive Is Not SAC PolicyComment

When Jimmy Carter was elected, one of his aides said, "In five years, we'll bury the NRA."
In four years, the NRA buried Carter.Comment

in high school, my Gov't teacher (senior year) waxed poetic about how Carter was going to kick Reagan in the backside,
how Reagan had no chance to beat him etc etc,
every single day from the first until election day
the day after, we started learning about Gov't,, he had nothing to say, even when prompted, or prodded , by us Seniors,,
saw him years later, took a Machinist course at a local CC, he was teaching there, still a die hard liberal, but more mellowComment

Dolt always thinks before posting. Dolt is sick and tired of "handwringers" who pontificate, equivocate, elucidate and probably even masturbate before voicing their measured thoughts about the war for this country. And make no mistake, it is a war. I would like to know how many on this forum doubt that the Left hates America and want to see her die. Please chime in. Cowards make me puke.Last edited by Dolt; 03-29-2019, 05:58.Read, think, UNDERSTAND, commentComment

The Left understands that even in the most impoverished countries, the ruling elite live high on the hog. They don't want prosperity and freedom, they want POWER.Comment

Dolt makes a vaguely threatening online reference towards an elected official of the Federal Government. If that's what Dolt considers thinking, then it's on him. I don't know what people think they accomplish when they do that.

Swap "counties" for "countries" and you describe many red states. But you knew that already.Comment

If power originates from the people and the ruler realizes that it is for the peoples benefit that is good. When the ruler thinks he/she is the power that is wrong. President Trump has changed what was wrong to a more centrist keel and that scare the left. The left needs poverty to promise "hope" with not intention of delivering. Now come a man who promised change and gave it in a positive way. If people can provide for self and often in abundance why need government help? If government help is not needed then does government need more taxes and people to make rules and regulations? Are people in poverty if they do not have what other's have yet are content? I saw people who had adequate housing, food, clothing, health care yet wanted more from the government. More then once I was called on the carpet to answer a complaint about not doing my job. When I explained what I had done and suggested "they" get a job to provide for themselves my boss was OK with that. Power does not come from government, personal power is taken by the government and that is reality. America has elite on both sides of the aisle, which one wants to serve the American people?
