Oh, a new ploy - taxes. Yeah, they've never tried that before.

Democrats are like George Washington's doctors.

George was sick. The doctors bled him.

He got sicker. They bled him some more.

He got sicker, told them to leave him alone and died.

And they were convinced that if he'd let them take ALL his blood, he'd be alive to this day.

Vern, you are a combat infantryman, how different was the macho talk from the front line to the rear area commandos?

              OK ... I'll comment

I spent 5 1/2 years in Australia living under their form of socialized medicine .

No one in Australia considered it a freebee . It was covered by income taxes and they felt that is what taxes were for..

No doubt about it the tax rate paid by a bricklayer was a fair bit higher there than here ..... but the cost for socialized medicine at that time accounted for 1.5 % of the tax burden.

1.5 %.... now anyone unhappy with that was free to purchase private insurance and use private health care facilities. Cost of such insurance at the time was a small fraction of the cost for similar here in the US .

I was hospitalised twice in Australia. Once under the social system and once under private due to a work place accident {workers comp}. In both instances care was outstanding and immdediate. Only real difference was that in the the private hospital I was in a two man room and the socialised I was in a 5 man ward.

Wife and I have just returned from South America because a needed medical procedure there was less than a third of our co pay here... including air fare . And we pay for insurance here out of pocket.

So... your little cartoon looks amusing... but no matter what... someone is reaching into your back pocket ...... with a heavy hand.

We'll be traveling back to Colombia in June...... kind of a shame when Americans find it cost effective to ignore the insurance policies they pay for and seek help else where

Don't know much about REMFs. But afterwards, I've been lectured many a time by people who never heard a shot fired in anger.

We had many counselors who had never worked the field, just sat in their office not knowing the reality. One was in charge of orientation of the new hires and WHAT SHE EXPECTED from them. In my division we had to untrain them from her mindset. She wrote policy and the forms that the agency used, it was very hard to comply with her and often we didn't. One day I was called into her office and demanded to know why I wasn't using her form. I stated it was not right so I used another older form. She then complained to my boss and I had to reply, "If I used her form it is not in compliance with the state regulations." He checked it out and I was right, from that point on she was a thorn in my side. Same on this forum, great talkers but not doers or have any experience.

You have that right -- as I said, they are narcissists and don't NEED experience. Imagination is enough.

I see Vernon is back on Narcissism. Shhhh! Nobody tell him that Trump hits 9/9 of the symptoms of Narcissistic Personality Disorder. 5/9 considered sufficient by the APA for a diagnosis. I mention it because Vernon used the N-word (narcissist).

And if we're doing narcissism again, then Hunter, Wingate and starving trolls cannot be far behind.
