Poverty pimps are just that pimps. Locally there are many jobs to be had and more on the way, funny I drive by the welfare office and it is still quite busy. My buddy who owns all the McDonalds in the country can't find enough workers, Lowes is having the same problem. Now if people were required to work for their benefits then maybe some will go to work locally and go off benefits.

Has he tried paying more? Or has he simply concluded that his business is more profitable this way? Also I think you meant county not country? One would also suspect that welfare money ends up in McDonald's cash drawers.

I asked this question earlier and it never got fully answered,
It has been mentioned before, as well as here earlier, that just as many Illegals come through our Ports of Entry as come into our country through the southern border. Do we have any statistics or guesses that could support that claim? There are a number of sea ports also. We know the approx large number that come through the southern border, do the other ports, both northern border and sea ports, have as many as the southern border crossings as was claimed? Are there any numbers we could to use for comparison? Ray

Ray, I doubt anyone has those figures and if they did they probably wouldn't release them. Remember, the democrats have a conspiracy going on "the more, the better", so illegals coming in and homesteading is covered up as much as possible. The land and waterways are just too open and vast to patrol except for where the main activity is. That's why we should kill the incentives for them to want to be here. Agree or disagree but what we're doing now damn sure isn't working.

One is illegal and too many. Millions upon millions is nothing but political sabotage of America--a war w/o guns and a desired defeat.

            Hi Ray,

Here is a pretty comprehensive report on the subject

            https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/pdf...50241700500107

It divides illegals into two groups: those who enter without inspection (EWIs), and those who overstay visas.

Thanks togor, good article but doesn't seem to address specifically the question I asked about which was how many come in through other then the border entry. Probably as Allen said, no one knows, or else nobody is saying, Ray

When Germany wanted to take over the world is was not tolerated. Japan was kicked out of all the territory it conquered. Why do Amerians stand by and let hundreds of thousands of people from other countries just walk in? Because it's nice? It's nuts.

                  Hi Ray,

I think the EWI numbers in the report are what you're looking for. Entry "without inspection" is a strange name for it but I guess it does describe someone sneaking over accurately enough.
