Cut money for Special Olympics, pay raise for the Governor

Sorry dont have a link. Anyone else see where New York pulled 50,000 grand from Special Olympics but gave Cuomo a 50,000 dollar pay raise over the next two years?
Didnt show up on CNN so I googled NY budget.
Cuomo is now the countries highest paid governor.

Nothing new, here in NJ we had the phony "school funding" battle of the 1970s, that led to the state income tax-which went for pay raises. When he left office in 1982, the then Governor, Brendan Byrne, whined that he and his family had to live for eight years on a salary of "only $65,000 a year" ($171,000 on today's dollars) because the state constitution says the governor's salary "will be neither increased nor diminished during continuance in office."
It wasn't long ago that Cuomo was quacking that the Trump tax cuts and changes had greatly reduced New York State's revenue.

Another generation like this, and New York City will be a howling wilderness.

Government is run for the benefit of the people who run it, and is the Liberals/Leftists preferred growth industry.

Well, I'm aware of the history of it. I'm sure there are more improved versions. Less than lethal.

Zyklon B is still in use in one form or another. Exterminators use its variations on a regular basis. Ever see a building tarped and sealed so they can "bomb" it?
Perhaps some of you guys could tarp and seal Chicago with that big blanket that gets tossed on anything you don't like the looks of?
All us conservatives here, outnumbered 10:1, are just collateral damage and acceptable losses. Right? How right?

Also, Special Olympics has more than one fundraising arm. We've been very careful about which arm gets our funds as some have become more top heavy than others. So, in essence we too have "cut off funding" if the entire truth isn't made known.

JB I for one do not want to see the residents of NI take to the highways in search of greener pastures. No disrespect but that's all of them. Some of the otherwise respectable ones still end up being Cub fans, or worse.

Now is not the time to talk to me about the Cubs. It's very early in the season, they are going to be facing a Brewers team that's jumping out of the gates, and the White Sox currently have a better W/L than the Cubbies.
No, now is not the time. It takes us a few weeks to fabricate decent excuses.

BTW, this years April 1 hoax was about the Cubs trading Rizzo to MIL for Josh Hader.

They better not overuse Hader. And getting a few more base hits wouldn't kill anybody. I know, easier said than done sometimes.

Also I think Matt Albers for Rizzo would be a net win for the Cubs but in the spirit of camaraderie I'd support it.
