    Another Victory for Chicago

What a wonderful town to live in.

Former federal prosecutor Lori Lightfoot defeated a longtime political insider Tuesday to become Chicago's next mayor, the first black woman and openly gay person to lead the nation's third-largest city.

Feel saddened for the few "normal" people who live there.

If they still live there, they aren't normal.

The only "normal" people in Chicago are in the cemeteries.

Not necessarily. They are some of the very ones voting for these barbarians.

Yes, but they have help to do that. I think they call the helpers "community organizers."

I have read Chicago is facing some serious fiscal proeblems and Illinois is no position to help them.

Thanks for stating the truth and sticking to the facts. It isn't a new problem, but it's one the socialist thieves can't keep hidden anymore.
Lori Lightfoot is the new mayor and she was the lesser of the two evils in the run off election.. She wasn't my first choice but I made sure I voted against Prickwrinkle the Crook County board president. Between her, Gov. Prickster, and Senator The Dick Durban, Lightfoot was the only hope of tossing a wrench into the Machine.
She has been vilified, demonized, and victimized by Dem rumor mongering, yet she won every ward in the city. White, Black, Brown, Red, Yellow, Straight, and Gay. She won them all. That in itself should say something.
Should she stray from her platform it wouldn't be the first time as every politician has in recent memory. Hopefully she won't be worse than it would have been had she lost.
