Apparently they have an Affirmative Action program at Rutgers that requires them to hire a percentage of howling-at-the-moon nutcases. -

It takes some good weed to come up that kind of thinking. I've heard stoners lecture that sort of thing. "time man, it's out there". Europeans own time, uh,huh. Europeans have ahh,,well, oops that might sound racist. Trees have rights you know.If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.Comment

Thought I would suffer a seizure (of laughter) when I saw this comment:
"African history is part of the global historical timeline, just not a very important part, unless you are into slavery, corruption, and people running away from Africa as fast as they can. Instead of US blacks getting reparations, they should pay white people for getting them out of that f ked up continent."
Anybody dispute the truth of it?Comment

my understanding is that it is a wonderful continent to visit, in some areas, with lots of places to avoid,Thought I would suffer a seizure (of laughter) when I saw this comment:

Ever read Frank Herbert's novel, The Dosadi Experiment? Frank also wrote the Dune trilogy. The book is about a planet of people trapped in hellish conditions, with bad government, overpopulation, a toxic environment, etc. The worry of the powers-that-be running things was if these people ever got loose on the galaxy, then they would end up running things, because the brutal conditions of their planet made them super-tough.Thought I would suffer a seizure (of laughter) when I saw this comment:

I've not read that one... yet. Thanks.Ever read Frank Herbert's novel, The Dosadi Experiment? Frank also wrote the Dune trilogy. Along similar vein is the Childe Cycle books by Gordon R. Dickson. It begins with "Dorsai!", seeing the human race splintered and one particular splinter treated somewhat as you described above. The series begins with some very good novels, some of the best in science-fiction and, ..IMO, some of the worst towards the end. Still the first few are worth reading.
RE the thread topic... laughable racial-narcissism IMO.
