You haven't engaged my thesis. There's actually a lot there for you to like, except for your former job as a GOP party hack, which completely limits you

Togor' I "don't blather on" if anybody on this forum does its you. What does " a guy who buys 15 handguns a month" have to do with the subject we were talking ? I agree its wrong and illegal, at least where I come from.

It's kind of light hearted to mention the dead over and over, but now the opposing parties think that "they" need to "fix"(as in repair) the election process. Everyone hates the electoral college...until it works for them and us.
New material for stating the obvious, apparently you need to get your head out of the sand my friend before National Socialism kicks your butt! I am tired of National Socialism however this form of political speech is now a reality and to state otherwise is a fools errand.

And NO ONE should have the proper ID except for citizens.

Not you specifically blathering, John, but I could have been more clear on that. I'm stating a general principle about consistency between these two pillars of freedom as I call them. You and I both know that there are guys out there who accept bad gun sales as "a price of liberty." My point is that to see gun sales that way, but then see the act of voting as something akin to buying beer and cigarettes at midnight with a personal check and no ID, is to be making the wrong comparison. Actually I suppose they see it as buying Malt Liquor and Menthols. Yeah, I'll say it. Let the college students and city renters who change addresses vote without putting a lot of stupid BS rules in front of them. Don't make it innocent-until-proven-guilty for gun buys but the opposite for voting.
