The coming warm months of ideliac summer...

What will it bring to the Republic? I for one will be going fishing before doing other interesting things like recharging the battery on the lawn tractor for yardwork.

Ideliac? We're making up new words now, not just new meanings to existing words (like "Nazi")? Guessing you mean idyllic. Spring fishing is good, especially if the weather cooperates.

I thought maybe it was an affliction, or disease, since it rhymed with Celiac

then again, Sam could be trying out to be a new rap star,, for shizzle

My mower and weedeater both started in two pulls, somewhat regretfully. I mowed and otherwise splattered weedy growth around the yard last week, and see it needs to be done again. I wonder if one can mix concentrated Roundup and green paint...........

Got to make some extra money somehow don't I? It is like spelling, anyone can spell the word the same way in the "approved" manner, it takes talent to spell it differently. Tried that reasoning on my 3rd grade teacher, it didn't work 60 years ago. I figured if "our" National Socialists can bring up what they do, why can't others?

About half of our back yard (approx. 100'w x 80'd) had that black "landscaping fabric" put down, oh say 20 or so years ago by the "master gardener" who lived here, then. Then, Bob the OSHA inspector (not actual name but was OSHA) lived here 9 years. Bob mowed it... maybe every 2-3 years.... Now there's a big patch where nothing but weeds will grow, in the 3-5" of mulch that has accumulated amongst the layers of vine roots. I abhor the thought of digging all that up, .. might try renting one of those roll-around lawn aerators to open up the old buried black cloth "stuff"........ My back aches, at the thought of it..........

Until it was pointed out to me I had made an error I had not realized it. To be honest, my first thought was to the episode of "Citizen's Arrest, Citizens Arrest!" and Gomer's attention to detail. Apparently our forum is now gifted with our Gomer so one has to be careful of "Citizen's Arrest, Citizen's Arrest!" when posting. Perhaps one needs a copy of Funk and Wagnalls to double check before posting. Maybe "Cliff" from "Cheers" will make his appearance, after all he was a government employee as well!

Quoting Gomer Pyle, USMC. That's an interesting way for a self-described Educated Man to reflect on his unwitting invention of a new phonetic spelling of a very old English language word. Rustic indeed.
