I get what you are saying, but strictly speaking those are two political parties, not one. And are you indicting the business class? That is thin ice for a Republican, even a populist one. Trump has done a thorough job of blaming foreigners for all manner of social ills, and a good many are willing to go along with that idea. But if reform is going to happen then sooner or later the Stephen Miller rhetoric has to get put to the sidelines.
