What did they expect?

The company I worked for had it's headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia. I was up there once and went for lunch with a friend. We drove through a housing area, and my friend said, "The Government just removated all the property on one side of the street. Guess which side?"

I couldn't tell! There were broken windows, screens ripped out and so on on BOTH sides of the street.

No one has figured that out yet? Really? I guess Global Climate Change hasn't gotten warm enough yet. When it get's really hot and it's nearly The End of Life on Earth As We Know It,there won't be time or money for such foolishness. Or, it will be 100% sleaze bag and then the end per Ann Rand. I read Atlas Shrugged fifty years ago, so I'm a little vague on what she said.
