Not sure you took this where you meant to go with it Vernon. For one thing, what if a priest likes 10 year old girls? Homosexual? No! Pedophile? Absolutely, yes. Homosexuality and pedophilia are orthogonal.

Now speaking of gay priests.... In the run-up to my wedding, my fiance and I went to one of the weekend retreats for couples run periodically by the diocese. There were round-table discussions and workshops on a range of subjects. Monstrously boring if you ask me, but then on Saturday evening they had a service where things ramped up a little bit on the spiritual side. One of the things they did is bring in priests from all over so they could run everyone through confesssion. Declining was not an option, if you get my drift. Anyways, I get in there, and start the usual dialogue, and I was greated by a voice that was en fuego. All I could think from that moment on was, "holy smokes, this guy is really really gay". I didn't really have much to confess since things had been naturally going my way for awhile, and so I got out of there pretty easy. I never did put a face to the voice, which was just as well. Gay priests have been a thing ever since going into the priesthood was a good way to get out of marriage, hard manual labor, get an education, and hang around with a bunch of other unmarried guys in secret. That it is also a good hunting ground for sexual predators of children is sadly true. And boys get attacked more because people tend to be more protective of girls, leaving their boys out there.

More absolute BS.. Tell us the name of 10 priests that violated 10 year old girls over the past 100 years... Didn't happen... these pedophile priest are perverted men interested in boys, not girls, not young women, and not old women. Queer, depends on your definition...

It happens that some priests prey on girls. Pretending that predation does not occur because you don't like togor serves no useful purpose.
