Apparently the FBI/IRS has taken an interest in her, @0700 her home was raided as well as her office in the City Hall. Something to do with children's books apparently. Whatever it is, I wish her well.

This subject came up a few weeks ago here. This mayor wrote black children's books and had a closed circuit with the school system where they would buy only from her and not consider other publishers. She was paid $500K in taxpayers money, when she was caught red handed she returned 100K of the money. I guess she thought that would just completely erase all her wrong doings.

If any of this were true then the city of Baltimore should be pressing charges too since she obviously couldn't do her job as mayor.

Also sounds like the medical board and school system should be examined over this since they were a part of it and the books are probably racist.

Her predecessor was removed on proof she was pilfering Holiday girt cards for the disadvantaged , about 500.00 . worth. BTW her literary creations really address the hard core problems kids face. What next? Eating broken glass may be less good?
