    Venezuela/2nd Amendment

Was watching the one sided riots in Venezuela , a country with "gun control", since 2012 no private ownership with very few exceptions. It also has the 2nd highest murder rate in the world(#1 Honduras) The government declared all guns "belong to the government" and therefore they could do what they want with "their property" We have a Democrat wacko running for president out here (Swalwell) that believes citizens should be disarmed and only the police and military should have guns. Evidently the gangs which have overrun the country broke the law and didn't turn theirs in. Off the subject, the nut that shot up the synagogue (Ernest?) used California compliant 10 rd magazines in his AR, He had five in his possession but I don't know how many rounds he fired.

I know an Iranian guy, now here on a green card, who disliked idea of widespread firearms ownership. I made this same point to him about the Iranian security forces and their lack of opposition. I do see a limit, however. Armed dirtbags usually end up working for the dictatorship, as paramilitary thugs doing the worst of the dirty work. For example, the Philippines and Duerte.

The leaders of Venezuela have long used armed militias to control the neighborhoods. The operate like a crime family.

Keep all of them out of this country. Except when they get here they only shoot each other mostly. The nutty white kids in this country want to shoot up the classroom. Too much t.v./cable/vid games. I don't know the answer. Well, I could probably come up with an answer but no one is going to like my ideas.

When the mice and rats start to eat each other, it is a good thing. I will just stand back and let it happen.

The people most likely to constitute paramilitaries were on display at Charlottesville.

Yep on both sides. However we have had for decades organized crime families and gangs that loosly control some city neighbor hoods.

                  Yes.

And in my view the people who are eager to take up arms and join a militia are the ones most likely to be put to work by a corrupt tyrant.

That's true, wonder how much tribute is paid to the Democratically controlled party machine in each city? When it comes to corruption the Dems will not stand competition in any way, shape or form.

Trump paid them as well, and openly admitted to bribes in the campaign.
