    Unfair???

So your home was broken into while you were at work. Thankfully the security system worked and the police apprehended a man and his 10 year old daughter ransacking the house.

The bad news is the social workers said the girl was innocent because her Dad made her accompany him. Now you have to provide her a room, feed her, and pay for her health care and schooling. Even worse yet, the court said if her Dad goes to jail his daughter would be abandoned, so he has been released and now he gets to stay with the girl in your house and you have to feed him too.

If that sounds a bit unfair, then you understand what's happening on the border.
    Paraphrased from Teri Brake.

You forgot the daughter was rented just for the heist.

Well Red, I'm with you on preventing anyone coming across the border at will ....

But the childish analogy you offer forces me to ask a question or two ....

      1. Why didn't ya vote Buchanan in the first place... ?

      2. Why didn't ya bitch when Bush failed to secure the border ?

      3. Why did you sit mum when Obama actually deported more imigrants than any President prior ?...... party lines thats why ...right ?

      4. Why did you wait decades before this was an important issue to you ?

      5. Lets bring it way back.... did you whine over the amnesty given by {insert genuflect} Reagan ?

      6. Where were you 16 years ago to defend me on this very forum when I bitched about illegal aliens ?

There are many still here on this forum who handed me my ass back then because they said I was too weak to compete against uneducated Mexicans .... now they want a wall.....

and now the border is suddenly an important issue .... you're too little, too late... and led by a man with the power to bring in a boat load of Dominicans to staff his hotels because he can't get Americans .

Again, the people bitching the loudest about the border are also the people most unwilling to make any compromise whatsoever to fix the worst of the problems. Trump is stuck because if he does a deal, then some heckler at a rally will shout "amnesty!" and not in a good way.

          Don't look at me-
I voted for Buchanan. I'll never forgive any of the politicians who gave amnesty. I was shocked back in 1970 to see everything written in Spanish in south Texas.

Well, the U.S. Postal Service is sending out their call for canned and packaged food to be left for the letter carriers all next week. "Feed the Hungry" means free food for the hordes. In the fall it will be a call for donations for "back to school" clothing and backpacks. Of course there will be free inoculations so the kiddies don't bring desease to the rest of the school population...ah, kind of like what's happening across the country now with the measles plague(which is not 100% immigrants fault to be honest)
I simple cannot believe what is happening to this country. And I haven't been able to believe it for forty years.

Oh, and I did vote for Reagan too. But we all did. But Buchanan never fell for any of the politicians BS.

          - "Whether President Reagan has charted a new course that will set our compass for decades—or whether history will see him as the conservative interruption in a process of inexorable national decline—is yet to be determined".[14]-

no answers to my questions....? thats what I thought . At least dryheat offered a reply

thanks at least for that reply there dryheat but a personal observation of some local food pantry's here in sw florida if I may.

On food day the small crowd waiting to be served happen to be mostly white, and a few blacks... fair to decent cars in the parking lot, most smoking cigarettes and predominantly on the fat side ...

either way the post office collection gets nothing from me either

Nothing to the post office, weekly my family brings food to our Church outside Giving Box. For those that don't know, in our mail was a notice of postal food collections this week. One of our Deacon's read a note that had been placed in the Giving Box. The note was from a single mother thanking the Church members for the food donations as she used this to help to feed her 3 children. Many years ago I wondered how I was going to pay my young family's bills, prayed over it believing that God would provide and God ALWAYS came through for us. With God, all things are possible is true...
