Got to admit to being a non-poster. I really don't remember when I first joined the old forum under a different name. Heck, I don't recall what that name even was, but just guessing it was 10-12 years ago. The Culver's were regular posters. After logging out at some point I just went back to reading posts for a good while then rejoined under the current name, in 2012 it says, almost seven years ago so that in itself qualifies for years. I don't, and never have, on any forum ever had two logins at the same time.

And yes, I have seen Red and others highjack out of frustration or whatever. We all should heed Verns advice.

Ok, I was wrong about the time frame. Looking at web archives I asked a question on the Guntalk forum on Christmas Day, 2004 under my current login. Time flies by for sure and the forum was great back in the day. Sandpebble, you were posting then as well. When did you first join the old forum?

Red, Vernon, Boggs and Allen (I call these boys my Jug Band) frequently court opposing views with their posts. Sometimes their hooks stay empty and sometimes they catch more than their limit and talk about ignore lists and the unfairness of it all. At some level it's all harmless diversion. But if someone's views are so fragile as to not withstand a contradictory word, then yes, a digital safe space may be their best bet. Not something I would ever brag about, personally speaking.
