Well Red, for a start the Federal Bureau of Investigation does not need to have proof or even evidence of a crime before instigating an investigation . That is why they have actually been pretty good at defending their fellow Americans for quite some time . They, along with the CIA and NSA had something catch their eye ...

What caught their eye resulted in 37 indictments... 25 being Russians proven to be tampering with our elections and/or flooding us with misinformation .

Five White House Aides plead guilty to crimes against the United States and four were jailed..... another is still in court .

And you guys are going to stand with "the man" and agree this was all a hoax....... I'll stand with the FBI, CIA and NSA any time....

.... and if YOU won't, then I'll spit that word traitor right back in your ugly assed face

That is proof that you are stupid beyond belief... So you think the FBI can investigate Joe Schmidt just because somebody in the FBI is pissed at him. That they can totaly ruin anybody's life just because they can? No crime, no investigation and that is the law.

Stupid is as stupid says... And you are unfixable.

Well Red I would have to say that after 37 indictments and five friends of "Joe Scmidt" going to jail it was a little more than someone at the FBI being pissed at him.

After the Boston Marathon bombing all FBI investigations start with an assesment . Do you know what is required for that ?

Basically nothing. Just an “authorized purpose” and a “clearly defined objective.” No “probable cause” or “reasonable suspicion” is required.

So.... are you saying those five in jail should have been left alone ? ... or that we should have said nothing and allowed the Russians free rein just so's not to embarrass Joe Schmidt ??

Sorry Pal... our intelligence agencies offer us all a lot more than a $15 a week tax break.... and your Joe Schmidt would do them harm .... just because he's pissed

Beautiful set-piece by Sandpebble. Well done, sir. Red stepped right into it.

Red, in order to have a more effective counter-terrorism response, the DOJ modified rules for FBI investigations. You can read about it here if you like.

Trump is clearly bleating from an old script. After the Barr "Witch Hunt" has run its course, nothing will come of it. It will disappear from the headlines and be replaced by some new display of Sturm und Drang from Herr Drumpf.

Red, Red, why get in such a state? "Our" Nazi's are only good @ two things and that is 1] each trying to outdo which one is stupider and 2] some ability to count. Look on the bright side, "they" are not a relative, co-worker/boss, or neighbor...just some mental ill individuals who one should feel sorry for. Can one imagine going to bed each night with the realization that the next day "their" dream of National Socialism just lost another chunk.
