    Sea Level Rise

Interesting interview. The interviewee explains how different ice sheets melting will affect sea level rises across the globe differently. It turns out that the mass of the ice itself, and the gravitational forces associated with it, have a lot to do with it. I imagine to be an earth scientist in this age is both exciting and depressing at the same time.

That was enlightening. I'm always interested in science(as an very uneducated person). The fact that it was cold last December in Indiana means nothing to me when it comes to climate change. I feel sorry for the folks have have to argue against every new thing. Or the conspiracy nuts(everything is a conspiracy to them). I also don't swallow every single new thing I hear about [the environment]either. I don't believe we need to take care of every person on the planet. Global climate change is going to hurt some people and wrecking our entire nation and western civilization to help them is foolish. It's kind of nice though.
