Detention in the US is a step up for some

How it is for some women in Honduras. People have asked why so many are at the border now. Multiple factors, including lenient policies by Mexico. But the root cause is life at home sucks and people are willing to go to any length for something better. And if some anti-abortion person says we need to be shooting them, I'm gonna say up front that this is cockeyed thinking.

Why would any anti-abortion person want to shoot them? These peasant women are also fervent "anti-abortion persons." Breeding like rats is what they do best.

It's the pro-abortionists (like me) who might want to shoot them. However, bleeding-heart that I am, sterilization would do just as well. Of course, if they merely stayed where they belong (in their own country), they needn't be shot or sterilized, & could continue the sport of breeding like rats.

      Ask Allen, among others.

Breeding like rats? That's what the 12 year old girl about to deliver her rapist's child is doing? See, when you don't give a sh*t about others, then don't be surprised if others eventually return the favor.

That goes on all over the world--why should it be America's problem? All over the Turd World, but esp. in Muslim countries, 12 is a common age of forced-marriage. Bring them all here?

It's sh**thole country full of really simple minded people. That's tough. Keep them there. They can have all the kids they want. If they die they die. That's the natural scheme of things. We shouldn't mess with it.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

then maybe some liberal do good groups , or conservative do good groups, should send some folks there to help them out?

running from the problem doesn't really fix it does it?

The problem with fatalism is that it's a slippery slope. Once someone gets fatalistic about anything big, it kind of ruins that person's line of argument over the small stuff. In this case, these people are within trudging distance of the US. One way or the other, the problem comes to us.

The International rule on asylum is that you must declare it(asylum) on the FIRST foreign soil you step on, this would be Mexico for a lot of them flooding our border. Mexico knows this but has been passing them on to us. Mexico should be required/pressured to comply with international law.

Togor; And that's why in my sarcastic way I have mentioned that some World Court will decide that it isn't fair that S. americans get to just stroll into the U.S. while the Nigerians starve, so we are legally obligated to ship X number of Nigerians over here. Nothing would surprise me. No, I'm not surprised, it's happening.
I thought it was just sarcasm when I mentioned a few years ago(how time flies) that, what do we do, when a whole country decides to move into the U.S.? Truth is stranger than fiction.
To continue: Because we have super rich they can provide rations for millions, but to keep it on a level playing field, we are constantly bombarded with requests to help the poor, homeless, hungry refugees. Let Bill Gates pay for it. Oh, wait, he's part of the problem. Him and the wizard from the blizzard. In the meantime "we" work for eleven dollars and hr. Jeff Bezos makes that every.00000000009 seconds. I for one don't like being lumped in with the poor (I'm not poor). But, I guess it's supposed to make us feel equal in some fashion because we are all helping out. I do not resent the rich. I resent their(to me) foolish attitude. Yeah, we don't want the Nigerians to go extinct. You want to know that their are some out there on the Savannah somewhere. Take a trip and go visit them.

Mexico will be complying shortly. When push comes to shove, it will be, Screw the Hondurans(where have you heard that one).

Apparently President Trump will not have to impose tariffs on Monday as Mexico has now agreed to do more in their country. Trump did in two weeks what previous administrations could not.

This is narcissism at it's finest. He imagines how others think, and then condemns them for thinking it.

And if you don't think that way, you've committed the greatest crime a conservative can commit -- failure to conform to stereotype.
