Time will tell. There is a parallel story out about rigged drug tests being used by socialist services to take children away from their parents. Will try to find it.

I usually don't talk about my crimefighter life in detail, but I will say that I don't know about that (the OP) but I do know about this.

My first big case was a racketeering investigation involving commercial prostitution in New York City. Child sex trafficking was just becoming an issue and it's important to remember that at the time this happened (1978) child prostitution and pornography were just coming onto the national radar. In fact, the distribution of child pornography was still legal and, for the most part, child prostitution was handled like any other form of "hookerdom." There were, in fact, literally hundreds of underage prostitutes working the streets of New York at any given time. These kids were mostly white runaways and pushouts; a surprising number coming from the upper midwestern states.

After the (successful) prosecution we were asked to talk to some Agents starting an investigation on child prostitution. We said we didn't know anything outside the range of common knowledge about it but would ask around. We had an informer who was a street prostitute in her early 20s who had been in the business since she was 14, not unusual in NYC at the time. She said she did know something but believed that nothing would ever come of it. When we asked why she said that there was an establishment that provided very young girls to the rich and shameless. According to her any investigation into this would uncover clients who ware politicians, captains of industry, big time entertainers ect. We passed the information on but, for whatever reason, (I want it understood I am absolutely casting no aspersions here) never heard anything back about it.

Fortunately, today, the laws have dramatically changed and the mere viewing of smut involving children will ruin your life if you get caught.
