I'M no quitter!!!

Some days it is tough being retired and today was one of them. It has been dark and gloomy so I decided to do nothing and I got tired of that. I made myself a milkshake and still got tired. Watch Wolf take a nap and tried to do that too...little voice said to do something and not have a wasted day. I figured the little voice was right so now I am trying to follow the example put forth by the cat.

Sometimes a day that consists of little more than lying around reading a book or watching TV or just daydreaming is just what your body needs. You need not fell guilty about it. As it happens, today was the first terrific weather day that we have had here in Ottawa in weeks and I didn't sit around reading but got out to the range and fired my 100 year old WWI Ross Rifle and my WWII Lee Enfield.
