NYPD investigating Trump for rape that occurred over 20 yrs ago

What a writer won't say to sell her book. And of course a democrat mayor will try to promote the allegation. I understand she's charged others of rape also in her time, Ray

NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio told NY1 on Saturday that the NYPD will investigate the allegation that Donald Trump raped "Elle" advice columnist E. Jean Carroll in the mid-1990s as soon as they receive a complaint from the victim. President Trump has vigorously denied the accusation.

Trump did not rape E. Jean Carroll. Unlike Bill Clinton, Trump has good taste in women.

New York does not have a statute of limitations for sexual offenses. Unfortunately Trump has been his own worst enemy on this.

We'll see how serious this is if Ms. Carroll really wants to go to the mat on this. She's going to have to be willing to testify and face cross examination. This is bound to be more difficult as she said she doesn't seem to have told anyone in anything like a timely manner. I understand she has made similar accusations lately about other people as well. As of right now she says she will not cooperate with a criminal investigation. Of course that could change.

I've seen some pictures of Ms Carroll 25+ years ago which is when this would have happened. She was pretty cute back then. We all get old...and usually stop being good looking somewhere along the way. Of course some of us start out not good looking and get...to put it mildly....less good looking; I can speak to that myself.

I wonder how many of these women the democrats have on their "cuff" waiting for just the right time to make an announcement? She didn't say a thing last election. I guess it was figured she could benefit more by waiting till Trumps next election.

While the Republicans speak of their game plans if elected the democrats who have no plans resort to hired women of such to smear the opponents.

If she was raped and if it bothered her she would have come forth long ago and there would be a police report on it.

I suspect there are a lot of women "on the cuff."

As far as timely report goes. A lot of women never come forward or come forward too late. My daughter is one of those.

The accuser realizes that DT has daily schedules going back decades and her timeline may not stand up.

30 years ago or so the daughter of then Governor Byrne claimed she was assaulted at a rock concert in Central Park. The NYPD determined there were too many people there at the time, the area where she claimed the assault took place was too open and well lit. Then there was Tawana Brawley and more recently Jussie Smollett. The claims by Karen McDougall and Stormy Daniels seem to have been refuted. But throw enough mud and some of it is bound to stick.
People who make these allegations overlook little things like daily schedules, personal assistants, etc. Like people who try to blame an accident on icy road conditions, etc. and the cops know that road was clear, the day was sunny, etc.

Stormy Daniels, interestingly, didn't say she'd been raped. She said she had a consensual sexual encounter with Trump that amounted to a one night stand, so I never did see the big deal about that. McDougal said she had an affair, also consensual, that lasted for a period of time. Trump has said that in the past (how recent a past might be in doubt) he was extremely promiscuous. So, unless I'm missing something, Daniels' and McDougal's statements amount to a giant "nothing burger" even if true.

On the other hand, Bill Clinton DID rape Juanita Broderick.

Yeah yeah, I know, everyone has rights, but how does a porn star get raped?
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

Respectfully; under the law (which I agree with) anytime a person is forced against their will to engage in a sexual act a crime is committed regardless of the victim's character (or lack of it.)

As I said, in this case it doesn't matter because the porn gal did not make an allegation of rape.

Or, when the agreed upon fee is not forthcoming.

I know some of you are kidding about "rape" of a porn star. Having worked with these type of ladies let me be so bold as to set the record straight. Many of these women do not get into prostitution because they want to, many are forced or do it out of necessity. Unfortunately my state of Ohio has a serious problem with human trafficating, mainly female for paid sex. I had yet to meet one that did it for "fun" just the opposite. The last one that I dealt with was a long time drug user, HIV positive and a person in want of honest human contact. I really felt sorry for her as she realized that he life was basically over with the death sentence already imposed on her at age 42. So called "decent" people did not want to associate with her so she moved back to Columbus, Ohio. I transferred her to a new case manager as I worked only active clients. While the CM was on the phone with her there was two shots and the phone went "dead". She had become another unsolved murder in the city, no one wanted her so the county provided her final resting place.

You mean when the check bounces.

Yes -- there are people who say prostitution is a "victimless crime." I've seen prostitution all over the world, and the victim is the prostitute.
