Border patrol guys use bad words

Oh dear, some border patrol members make fun of migrants ect.

During the OJ trial a friend of mine watched the whole thing. When the cop was asked if he had ever said the word ****** he said no. My friend who was a fireman slapped his forehead; "That's a lie". "No cop in the history of cops has never said ******".
You think they might be a little frustrated? I mean they are the Border Patrol and their job now is to let tens of thousands of migrants into the country. Never mind the country, but lets not hurt anyone's feelings.

Why is this such a big deal anyway, just a guy's way of blowing off steam. What about what the terrorist organization Antifa did in Oregon?

The world has changed. Video, etc. is problematic for those who are in positions of authority. It may prove or disprove reports of an incident. Hopefully the truth is brought to light and justice is served. Written comments, statements, opinions, etc., such as are the subject of the latest brouhaha are no different than videos. In this case, a small number of officers, perhaps three or so, expressed opinions, thoughts that cast their agency in a bad light. It was very unwise of the officers. It will pose problems for the agency given the hyperbolic nature of selective reporting, demokrat efforts to take political advantage of the incident, etc. In this respect, nothing has changed. Like posing next to the dead body of a enemy killed in combat, it just isn't done ... at least not any more. JMHO. Sincerely. bruce.

Some of this is in the nature of the work, which is telling people to do things that they don't wanna do. Sure we can say they're protecting America and there is truth to that, but on the ground, the job is basically bossing people around, making them follow rules which may change from one day to the next, depending on what headquarters says. Bossing folks is easier if you don't like them so much, and if you don't like them, then that may come out in social media too.

My return entries through CBP are mostly uneventful. I'm just some guy traveling for work. But every once in awhile you run into a Little Napoleon. You gotta just roll with it, and be on your way as soon as he lets you. Contrary to what Vernon says I have a live-and-let-live attitude, such that the CBP life would never be for me.

Wouldn't a combat cameraman be liable for punishment for using a deceased enemy in a photo shot with a G.I. standing close proximity?

Re: Combat cameraman. Don't know. Would have to imagine that he would have to work according to whatever was DOD policy. Sincerely. bruce.
