I understand it had little to do with his wife. It may have something to do with his kids and the fact that Chloe Kardashian was once on the Apprentice. That's his connection to those folks. The fact is there is nothing that will ever convince a Trump hater that he isn't a racist. Can't prove a negative you know. He's also supposed to hate gays. Test...who "came out" for gay marriage first after announcing for office, Barak Obama, Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. It isn't the first time Pres. Trump has acted to aid people of color in a foreign slammer. Remember those two black basketball players in China?

Donald Trump was the one who moved to act on minority complaints regarding excessive sentencing under the Crime Control Act of 1994. Books have actually been written on the subject. Barak Obama didn't and the Democrats in the Senate never moved to amend the law. Trump had it was brought to his attention by Kim Kardashian and Kanye West that a whole caboodle of mostly minority inmates were doing decades of time for relatively minor non violent offenses. Since then he has issued numerous clemencies to mostly black inmates in Federal custody who he felt had been subjected to inappropriately long sentences due to the above CCA 94 and, more importantly, got the ball rolling on legislation that is now law reducing sentences for these non violent offenders. Of course you'll really have to look to find that in the MSM.

in reality I can produce quite a few racist statements by Obama's former VP (creepy Joe,) but you don't hear much about that either and I'm not just talking about the busing issue he got hammered on. Harris actually took it pretty easy on him with that one.
