I did a little research and its revealing. I only used terrorist acts that are definitely political so idiots like the Las Vegas Concert shooter and other narcissists, grievance collectors, and day of infamy types aren't included. Nor are radicals who launch protests that can result in violence but don't claim that as the principle motivation. It also includes plots that were foiled by the authorities, most of those were Islamic since that's where most of the money for intelligence and surveillance goes. Most of these people seem to have been "self radicalized." Islamists also have the highest "body count" due to "9/11." So since the year 2000 acknowledging that this probably isn't a perfect list:

Islamic - 33

Right wing extremists/white supremist - 25

Radical left/communists/anarchists 12

Black extremist/black nationalist - 2

Jewish extremist - 2

Interesting stats Art ... but meaningless. We segregate what we feel are not political terrorism ... and the rest don't count?... like the 500 shot in Vegas ?

The discussion is , or should be, mass shootings inside our border so it actually it boils down to three ....

The Dems offered Trump $25B in wall money in exchange for the Dreamers and Trump and the base said hell no. Everyone agrees immigration reform is needed, but tell me the comprehensive package the administration brought to Congress when the GOP controlled the house. And what has changed? Boggs, I will use tiny words to explain CH's position, to make it easy for you. And yes, I think CH's position is pathological, and not doing him any favors. To the extent you agree, then it's your pathology too, a pathology of supporting terrorism.

CH says young man made mistake of shooting wrong people. Young man had right idea, but chose wrong target. Right target is fancy people in front of cameras who talk about bad border men being mean to little poor brown people at border. If the young man shoots fancy people then job well done. If done while fancy people on camera, then even better job.

Hate/anger/frustration. Reminds me of the day a local here walked into a Quicky Mart and shot a Sikh. You know, the guys that always wear a turban. It was September 11. He was wrong. But you can see what triggers it. It's the anger that washes over you when you return home and see that your home has been burglarized. It's anger, because you knew you should have beefed up that door. Because you knew those skate boarding kids down the street were trouble. It's anger because you don't feel you should have to be on guard every minute because your neighborhood is going to hell. It's an analogy(nobody gets other peoples analogies or likes your music). Frustration/anger/hate, all normal reactions. It takes strength to hold it at bay. Some people aren't equippted to restrain their emotions.
