I have used ignore on the trolls for a long time, and it works well. I would never quote them, because it defeats the whole ignore.

Depending on the subject of the thread, I will "view the post". Sometimes I get sucked in, sometimes the post has "useful" information. I think others here just can't wait to state what they believe is a clever rebuttal reply. Why?

Quoting is the same as the media giving the mass shooters their national recognition. Quoting is the same as the media talking heads giving their opinion, for example, the great gun control debate going on now.

If you feel insulted, what do you gain by replying? Do you personally know them? Most people here are known by the quality of their posts; technical information, or comments.

So, let the trolls troll, read them if you want, don't quote. Comment or not and move on.

I can't remember the last time I giggled. Laugh? Sure, today. Giggle? Uh-uh. But as you say, Vern ignores us, so by definition he's just making sh*t up.
