Hot in the Summer, cold in the Winter, warm in the middle = climate change. Most climate-related "humor" here is laden with derision. July was the hottest month on record. Period. At this point people might as well deny the earth is spherical or orbits the sun and insist that the Apollo program was a feasibility study to see if we could end world hunger with green cheese, if one wants to deny anthropomorphic climate change.
Democrats want to change that. Why ? Because they're stupid.Comment

Hotter than ever before, until next year, or the year after. People with brains want to change that. Why? Because they're smart. Enjoy your air conditioning. Don't forget to complain if the power goes out or yell at the neighborhood kids if they step on your lawn while trying to get their ball back.Comment

And record breaking cold winters.Hotter than ever before, until next year, or the year after. People with brains want to change that. Why? Because they're smart. Enjoy your air conditioning. You pontificate about the HOT which suits your purpose
but not the COLD which does not.Comment

Oh DT how many times have I wished that was the case. But see, the arctic ice doesn't do that. When there is sufficient energy applied for long enough, it melts. And it is melting faster than ever before. DT if you can find a data set for a large chunk of the planet that shows new high and new low temperature records occurring at roughly the same rate, please show me. Because everything I see shows record highs coming much more frequently than record lows.Comment

At one time Greenland was as tropical as Panama in today. Had forests and plenty of mineral deposits which it still has. Vast deposits that once warmed can be mined along with some rare earths. Sell Alaska back to the Russians. We have all but drained it of much of its wealth. Greenland's worth much more.Comment
